Are you looking for an internship for 2013? Do you have a qualification in any of the following:

Public Relations, Project Management, Social Sciences, administrative qualification, Development Studies, Training and Development, Business Administration/ Management, Project Management and/ Project Management experience, Accounting, Financial Management, Information Science, Call Centre Qualification/ Experience or Customer Services, Supply Chain Management, Economic Development, Business Development and Agriculture, Human Resource Management and Internal Audit.

Yes? Then you will be pleased to know that the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) is offering internships to promising graduates aged between 18 and 35 for a period of 24 months. The Internships are based nationally.

Interns will receive a monthly basic stipend per their qualification. Interns with a National Diploma shall receive a stipend of R3500, Degree R4000 and Honours and Higher R5000.

Matric and relevant 3 year post matric qualification (e.g. ND Public Relations, Project Management, Social Sciences) or have received relevant accredited training in Youth Development Practice, Project and Social Facilitation plus experience in working with young people.Functional usage of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project.Good presentation / exhibition construction skills

The ability to work weekends

Must be prepared to travel

Code 10 driving licence and their own transport.

Conditions:

  • Applicants should be unemployed and in possession of the relevant tertiary qualifications as indicated above.
  • Be a South African Citizen.
  • Have no previous work experience, including previous internship.
  • Clearly indicate the relevant internship area and the Branch for the Internship you are applying for.
