The Corporate Services Division has HR internship opportunity in the Human Resources Department, to assist the department with day-to-day operations of Organizational Development, HR Information Systems and Administration. The learner will also be exposed to recruitment, remuneration and benefits, talent management, training and development, employee relations functional areas and others. This exciting position reporting to the Talent Development Facilitator requires the successful candidate to:

  • Assist with co-ordination of internship and other skills development programmes.
  • Exposure to the following duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Administration:
    Create and maintain accurate and complete student files,
    Collate, maintain quality control and tracking of student’s portfolio’s of evidence,
    Tracking of Monthly Progress Reports
    Data capturing of student details and progress for reporting,
    Updating of expense sheets for financial reporting.
  • Events-planning: AETP Central Training
    Invitations, communication, collation and tracking of travel requirements of students and facilitators,
    Budgeting, obtaining quotations and procurement/tender administration,
    Preparation of packs and on-site support
    Couriering and correspondence.
  • Recruitment:
    Data capturing of student applications and correspondence,
    Advertising and response handling
  • Training:
    Plan and facilitate teambuilding event for students.
  • Ad Hoc: Filing and administration.

Requirements:

  • Graduate with National Diploma or Bachelors Degree HRM
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to be tactful and diplomatic
  • Superior planning, organizing and attention to detail skills
  • Demonstrate interpersonal, intrapersonal and communication skills at all levels of an organisation
  • Knowledge of Human Resources legislation and practices.
  • Proven skills on data capturing, filing and document control

  • Knowledge of Human Resources legislation and practices
