North West University Graduate Programme in Bio-Energy and Coal Research

The NWU hosts the NRF Associate Chair in Biofuels Research as well as the SARChi Coal Research Chair. The Research Programme is supported by the National Research Foundation and the Department of Science and Technology. Human capital development, through the training of scientists and engineers, is an important component of the research programmes.

 

Master’s, PhD and post doctoral positions are available in the fields of: Biofuels Technology

South African citizens with the relevant qualifications (HonsBSc, BEng, BScEng for Master’s and MSc or MScEng for Doctoral) are invited to apply for the 2013 Master’s and Doctoral Programmes. Post-doctoral candidates (South African citizenship not required) with experience in the bio-energy or coal engineering fields are strongly encouraged to apply for post-doctoral fellowships.

 

All applications must be accompanied by a complete Curriculum Vitae, academic record and proof of South African citizenship. Minimum requirements must be strongly adhered to.
