Please note that INSETA has become aware of a scam going around about an INSETA learnership programme operating in the Western Cape area. Learners, parents and/or employers are advised not to send money, CVs and ID details to these people. The fraud is being committed from an address insetaprograms@gmail.com.
Anyone wishing to validate a learnership or internship can call INSETA call centre for assistance on 086 113 0013 or email insetacallcentre@inseta.org.za.
The Bursary Bin would like to urge South African youth and all job-seekers to only respond to bursary, learnership, internship or job adverts when they are advertised with reputable publishers/ websites.
The Bursary Bin is committed to advertising only legitimate bursaries, internships, learnerships, apprenticeships and other entry-level jobs. as such you can always trust adverts we publish as we verify all advertisers and adverts before we publish them.
The Bursary Bin founder, Madimetja Mashishi, said members of the public should always be alert, “people who respond to faceless advertisers or adverts that use free email services such as Gmail, Yahoo, Webmail and others expose themselves to risks of being conned; people should also avoid responding to opportunities advertised on Facebook groups or other social media”. Mashishi added that people should source their opportunities from sources they can trust, publishers should post links to their websites so that the advert can be verified.
