Multinational – United States headquartered – engineering, procurement, construction and maintenance firm, Flour Corporation, entered the South African market back in 1960 with the establishment of Fluor SA (Pty) Ltd. Today the company is one of the most sought after service providers, serving key energy and chemicals, power, mining, and operations and maintenance markets.

Fluor SA (Pty) Ltd is inviting applications from bright young South Africans for its 2014 bursary programme. Bursary funding will be awarded to above average performers in their chosen relevant field of study. The bursary will only consider applications for degree studies in the following disciplines: engineering or built environment.

What are the requirements?

You have to meet the following minimum requirements to be considered:

  • You must be a South African;
  • Already studying at a university or provisionally accepted to study at a university to study towards a degree in Built Environment OR Engineering;
  • You must be planning to study or currently studying at a South African university.

How to apply?

Write a motivational letter on why you chose to study towards the engineering or built environment qualification you are currently studying or planning to study towards next year; and send the motivational letter together with your CV and a certified copy your most recent academic results (university results/ transcript of academic record OR school report (if you are not in university yet)) to Fluor South Africa by email to henny.moraka@fluor.com (Write: BURSARY in the subject line of your email).
