Are you an aspirant chartered accountant? Lack funding? Then you will be pleased to know that the Walter Sisulu University in association with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) and University of Cape Town is inviting applications from South African matriculants who have passed their Grade 12 with a minimum of 60% (Level 5) in English and Maths (NOT Maths Literacy) to apply for one hundred (100) FULL bursaries to study towards the 4-year Bachelor of Accounting Science (BCompt) degree at Walter Sisulu University in Mthatha, Eastern Cape.

What are the requirements?

To be considered for the bursary you must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Have passed Grade 12 (Matric);
  • Have marks of 60% or more in Maths and English;
  • Must be a South African citizen; and
  • Meet or exceed the Walter Sisulu University admission score for B.Compt which is 32 points (excluding Life Orientation).
