One of South Africa’s leading general insurers, Santam, is inviting applications for a Graduate Underwriter position at their Illovo office from suitably qualified South African graduates. Prospective candidates should be in possession of a Bachelor of Commerce degree with Risk Management subjects.
What are the requirements?
- Have a Bachelor of Commerce degree, with subjects in Risk Management.
What are the duties?
You will be responsible for the following:
- Underwriting of new and existing risks to obtain profitable growth
- Handle referrals and the underwriting thereof.
- Technical underwriting advice.
- Do policy screenings and manage portfolios in accordance with company policy
