PRASA 2015 Bursaries for Females & People living with disabilities

South Africa’s state-owned rail and road passenger transport agency, the Passenger Rail Agency of South  Africa (Prasa), is inviting applications for its 2015 bursaries from people living with disabilities and female candidates planning to study or currently studying towards a University or Technikon qualification in any of the following fields: Branding / Communication, Information Technology (IT), Signalling, Industrial, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering.

What are the requirements?

In addition studying or planning to study towards a Technikon or University qualification in any of the following fields, the applicants must also meet the requirements listed in the table below: Branding / Communication, Information Technology (IT), Signalling, Industrial, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering.

If you are a FEMALE applicant: If you are a DISABLED MALE / FEMALE applicant:
  • Matric Exemption
  • Maths & Science or other
  • Acceptance letter from a South African recognised University or Technikon

OR

If currently studying – latest academic results

  • Copy of South African ID
  • Proof of Address
  • Copy of CV

  • Acceptance letter from a South African recognised University or Technikon

OR

If currently studying – latest academic results

  • Accepted students must be willing to sign a PRASA Disability Declaration form
  • Confirmation letter from a Medical Practitioner confirming your disability
  • Copy of South African ID
  • Proof of Address
  • Copy of CV
