Nampak Roodekop Glass Apprenticeships (N4 OR NCV Level 4 required)

South African packaging material supply firm Nampak is inviting applications from South Africans with either an an NCV Level 4 or N4 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering for its 2015 Apprenticeship opportunities in the electrical and fitting trades. Successful candidates will be placed at Roodekop Glass in Johannesburg for the duration of the apprenticeship. Apprentices will be paid a monthly stipend for the duration of the contract. There are eight (8) positions available, four in fitting and another fore in electrical.

What are the requirements?

To be considered for one of these apprenticeship opportunities you have to meet the following minimum requirements:

  • You must have completed an NCV Level 4 or N4 qualification in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering;
  • Have good marks in trade theory related to this apprenticeship (i.e. Electrical or Fitting);
  • Be willing to work shifts and overtime, as and when required;
  • Be self-motivated and have the ability to work with minimum supervision;
  • Have good interpersonal skills;
  • While not a minimum requirement, being Computer Literate will serve as an advantage.
