The Department of Science and Technology (DST) is inviting applications for its 2016/2017 internship programme from unemployed South Africans with tertiary qualifications in a number of study fields (see table below for details). Successful candidates will be placed on 12-months long internship contracts with the DST based at the CSIR Campus in Pretoria and will receive an annual stipend of R60 000 (monthly stipend= R5 000).
What are the requirements?
- Be an unemployed graduate between the ages of 18 and 35 years;
- Must have never participated in an internship programme in government;
- Must any of the tertiary qualifications listed in the table below:
