SASSA 2016 Internships (Various fields)

The South African state agency responsible for the management and disbursement of various state-funded grants to the South African people, the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA), is inviting applications for its 2016/2017 Internship Programme from unemployed South African graduates from all over South Africa with a Diploma, BTech or Degree in any of the various study fields listed below (students who need Experiential Training may also apply). Interns will be paid a monthly stipend of R4200 (for National Diploma candidates) and R5200 (for BTech & Bachelors degree candidates). Interns will be placed on a 12-months internship contract and will be based at SASSA’s head office in Pretoria, Gauteng.
What are the requirements?
In order to be considered, applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Be a South African citizen between 18 and 35 years of age;
- Have a National Diploma, Degree or BTech from a recognised South African institution of higher learning in any of the following fields (candidates who require experiential learning may apply):
