Woolworths Clothing and Merchant Programme (Engineering Graduates)

Woolworths is inviting applications for its 2016 18-24 months trainee programme aimed at developing graduates into Technologists for the retail giant.  These opportunities are based at Woolworths’ Cape Town offices. Candidates will be paid a month stipend during their participation in the programme. This opportunity is open to candidates with a tertiary qualification (degree or diploma) in an Engineering field.

What are the requirements?

In order to be considered for the Woolworths Clothing and Merchant Programme, applicants have to meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Have a degree or diploma in Engineering;
  • Be computer literate;
  • Have an understanding of product construction;
  • Be consumer service oriented;
  • Have a good understanding of product and raw material manufacturing processes;
  • Have strong administrative and analytical skills;
  • Have sound business and commercial awareness.
