Zurich 2017 Learnerships (Only Matric required)

Insurance services multinational Zurich Insurance Group is inviting applications for its 2017 Learnerships from unemployed young South African citizens with a Matric / Grade 12 certificate from previously disadvantaged backgrounds. The learnerships are based at Zurich’s offices in Johannesburg and Durban for a period of twelve months, wherein successful candidates will be provided with theoretical and practical on-the-job training for a period of 12-months. At the successful completion of the learnership successful learners will be awarded FET Certificates in Short Term Insurance at NQF Level 4 and will be FAIS-complaint.

What are the requirements?

In order to be considered, applicants should meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Be a South African citizen from a previously disadvantaged background;
  • Be under the age of 24 ;
  • Have a Grade 12 certificate with Mathematics and English as passed subjects (passed with 50% or more);
  • Must not have completed any qualification after Grade 12, and must not be currently studying;
  • Must not have money to study further;
  • Must be able to speak, read & write in English;
  • Advantage: It will be an added advantage if you can communicate in any other official language.
