The CSIR in partnership with merSETA is pleased to announce a comprehensive bursary programme that is aimed at providing support for talented students in the field of engineering. The bursaries are designed to be especially attractive to those students that are considering a career in research, development and innovation. Both academic performance and financial need will be considered during the selection process, as well as the imperative to increase the participation of women and black people in engineering.
The CSIR invites applications from students who are already registered for full-time studies in their first year of study at
- A South African citizen
- Full-time enrolment at a South African university
- Registered for engineering studies
- Must have passed all courses (for first year students)
