As a part of its skills development initiatives Transport Education and Training Authority awards bursaries annually for studies aligned to critical and scarce skills identified in the transport sector. Bursary awards are categorized according to sector requirements, with due consideration of the National Skills Development Plan, compiled by the Department of Higher Education and Training.
The South African Police Service (SAPS) is inviting young and unemployed South African females who are interested in training to become Helicopter/Fixed-wing pilots to apply for their bursary programme – offered in partnership with the Transport Education and Training Authority (TETA).
