The Presidency of SA has 40 internship opportunities

Duration: 1 April 2012 to 31 March 2013 (12 months)

The Presidency is offering Internship opportunities to provide South African graduates and undergraduates, to gain workplace experience in the field of work that they have studied. Applications are invited from candidates in the following field of study: Financial Management, Public   Administration, Public Management, Office Management and Technology, Marketing, Political Science Purchasing and Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Facilities,  N6/ Diploma in Electrical engineering, Information Technology, Human Resources Development, Law (LLB, LLM, B.Juris/Proc), Catering/Hospitality,  and International Relations.

SALARY

The Interns will receive a stipend of R3 500 per month

REQUIREMENTS 

Applicants must be graduates in any of the field listed above/ undergraduate students to whom an internship is a prerequisite to obtain their formal qualification. Applications must be submitted on a Z83 form, obtainable from any Public Service Department, stating the field to which the field of study intern is applying from the above list, a CV, certified copies of certificates, transcripts and a letter from the institution for the undergraduates, Identity document must   also be attached. Failure to submit required documents will result in the application not being considered.

Who Should Apply?  

Unemployed South African graduates/post-graduates, with a tertiary qualification in one of the abovementioned fields of study, who has not been previously employed under any internship programme.
