Graduate engineers required

South Africa’s state-owned electricity generator, Eskom, has two vacancies for graduate trainees with the Quality Assurance department at their Mpumalanga Projects Sites, in Mpumalanga. The trainee opportunities are suitable for graduates with a Bachelors degree in quality management and an engineering qualification in any of the following: Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and Control and Instrumentation or studying towards such.

Minimum Requirements

  • Qualification(s):
    • B Tech or Degree in Quality Management and an Engineering Qualification in one of the following fields of study: –
    • Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and Control and Instrumentation) or studying towards such.
  • Experience
    • Knowledge of the technical systems, Mechanical/Electrical/C&I/Civil Engineering Quality Systems (ISO 9001) Implementation
    • Documentation and record management
    • Computer literate

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of the management systems
  • Document and record management
  • Assist in the scheduling of inspections
  • NCR and Defect systems management
  • Compiling of reports
