The Western Cape Department of Health is inviting interested students to apply for their bursary programme for 2013. The bursary application process is open to pupils in matric and those students already in university. You have to be already studying or intending to study one of the following qualifications:
• Degree: Medicine
• Degree: Emergency Medical Care
• National Diploma: Radiography
• Degree: Physiotherapy
• Degree: Pharmacy.
What are the requirements for the Western Cape Department of Health Bursary Scheme 2013?
To apply for one of these bursaries you must be: • A South African citizen wanting to study
full-time • Preferably a resident of the Western Cape • Accepted or awaiting acceptance at the
relevant accredited HEI • Have a June matric result, matric or post matric qualification. Incomplete
applications will NOT be considered.
How to apply for a Western Cape Department of Hearth Bursary for 2013?
The application can be done either online, by post or manual submission.

Download the Western Cape Department of Health Bursary Programme 2013 Application Form by clicking here. Complete the form and attach the following documents:
Certified copies : • RSA ID document • Previous academic year’s results or Grade 12 certificate (pupils currently in Grade 12 should please submit results for June 2012) • Disabled persons should provide proof of disability • Proof of residence (accounts, rates etc.) • Proof of parent income or tax certificate • Letter of motivation for bursary addressed to the
Bursary Committee. Return your application together all required documents to the addresses below.
For online applications:
• Register on the website (www.westerncape.pgwc.gov.za/healthbursary) • Complete the online application (Note: Upload all requested documents. Original certified documentation must be submitted with declaration decision should the applicant be successful) • Attach requested documentation
The Department reserves the right to award bursaries. Please ensure that your application form reaches WC Department of Health by 10 August 2012.
