Procurement involves: purchase planning, standards determination, specifications development, supplier research and selection, value analysis, financing, supply contract administration, and other related functions. |
The program aims to help you develop these skills to become well trained professional in the within Group Vender management and Procurement. To learn from other specialists and team members within Group vendor management and procurement team. The role is intended to provide a foundation for further roles in the department. Key objectives within the role: During this eighteen month program you will go through multiple rotations whereby you will develop both technical and specialist Procurement skills with the purpose of building future specialist capability across Procurement functions. |
You will need at least a three-year B.Com degree majoring in Finance, Supply chain management or Logistics. |
As well as educational qualifications you will need to be a South African citizen, you’ll need an analytical and logical approach to problem solving, an eye for detail and the ability to be responsible and accountable for complex work. Naturally, you’ll need to be a good communicator and networker, with the ability to work under pressure, make rational decisions and complete tasks. |
