Town Planner Internship at Westonaria Municipality

The Westonaria Local Municipalityhereby invites applications from suitable qualified town planning graduates into its 24-months Town Planner Internship. The interns will receive a stipend of R3500 per month.

REQUIREMENTS

Degree/National Diploma in Town & Regional Planning •Valid Driver’s Licence •Computer Literacy.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

•Handle all land use applications for the change of use •Update zoning map and plans
to ensure current zoning, sub-division and consolidation •Handle the public enquiries and queries for information
concerning land use applications •Handle the building plans scrutiny for approval by the Manager •Carry out site
inspections to determine the suitability of land use applications •Implement the provisions of the Town Planning
Scheme •Report on all activities relating to town planning.
