A fantastic entry level opportunity exists within SAB’s Group Technical Department for a Technical Graduate. If you have recently qualified in your Engineering/BSc degrees and are ready to take on a multitude of roles in your learning curve, this is an excellent starting block for your career. We are looking for a mature, reliable self-starter to take on traditional personal assistant responsibilities and provide assistance with technical research, presentation and report writing.
Competence Requirements
• The ability to develop and maintain contacts both within and external to SABMiller
• Computer literate (MS Office and MS Project)
• Advanced Ms Excel skills

Knowledge and Experience Required

• Tertiary qualification – completed relevant Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical) or General Science (BSc)
• Some experience in a work environment would be an advantage
• Those with experience in the engineering field will be an added advantage.

Outputs and Accountabilities
• Conduct technical research as required
• Compile technical reports
• Compile technical presentations
• Provide a full range of confidential personal assistance to group packaging and responsible for the execution of secretarial duties, management and organisation of group packaging and projects office.
• Compose and prepare correspondences, reports and memorandums,
• Maintain strict confidentiality and interact professionally with all levels of management, staff and business associates.
• Maintain good filing systems for smooth data retrieving.
• Arrange meetings/conferences; prepare presentations and other related tasks.
• Make travel arrangements for related local and overseas trips.
• Convey, coordinate, supervise, pursue and follow up on the instructions by the respective management staff within group packaging and projects.
• To undertake other special assignments, ad-hoc functions and related duties as and when required by the respective management staff within group packaging and projects
• Liaisons with internal departments and stakeholders
• Able to do multi-task, prioritize work and meet tight schedules
• Ensure guests meeting with group packaging and projects are well taken care of.
