Trainee Compliance Officer | Sanlam

Sanlam Personal Finance provides clients in the entry, middle, affluent and self-employed markets in South Africa with a comprehensive range of financial service solutions to facilitate their long term wealth creation, protection and niche financing needs

The person will be responsible for assisting with:

    • Implementation and maintenance of the compliance process

 

    • Compliance risk assessment and development of compliance risk management plans

 

    • Regulatory compliance monitoring

 

    • Compilation of internal and external compliance reports

 

  • Implementation of remedial action
      • Review regulatory training material to ensure that training requirements are met
      • Communication of compliance issues with employees
    • Liaising with regulators on administrative issues

BComm, Law degree or similar recognized compliance qualification

 


 

    • Awareness of financial services legislation

 

    • Ability to work independently

 

    • Teamwork

 

    • Relationship building

 

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
