RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research and analyze community needs and development projects
  • Project management support for employee driven projects across Africa
  • Explore opportunities for employee engagement in mining communities
  • Incorporate an understanding of  socio-economic issues and cultural diversity within Africa into proposed projects
  • Administrative support for the corporate responsibility function

REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Ability to learn, analyze, and understand business and technical processes
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, presentation) to all levels of the organization
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with key customers in the business and approach every challenge with a customer-centric view
  • Strong Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Effective team work and multi-tasking skills a must
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership in all tasks executed
  • Demonstrate the ability to be Dependable, Passionate, Caring, Agile, Decisive & Driven to Win
  • Basic understanding of corporate responsibility
  • Keen interest in community work
  • Understand social needs within an African context
Qualifications
  • Qualifications in the following fields: Business Administration, Project Management and Social Sciences related experience
  • Project Management experience advantage
  • 0-2 work experience
