Scanning:
Summarising news bulletins, talk shows, business programmes, interviews etc. into a readable synopsis that contains key information.
Ensuring accuracy of spelling, grammar and contextual content of synopses.
Accurately translate broadcast coverage into English.
Accurately type the synopsis into an in-house database and capturing the duration accurately.
Completing daily priority work according to set times.
Ensure and maintain daily production deadlines.
Study and be well versed with brief information of existing and new clients.
Undertake Live listening/logging of specific programmes.
Process transcripts/translations as and when necessary.

Requirements
Tertiary qualification, e.g. Degree/Diploma in media studies and/or communication
Computer literate
Strong comprehension of English as a written language;
Typing speed of 45 w.p.m.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
Strong administration skills
Attention to detail.

Attention to detail
Accurate.
