Illovo Engineering Bursary Programme 2014

One of South Africa’s largest sugar manufacturers, Illovo Sugar Ltd, is inviting applications for its 2014 Bursary Programme for students interested in studying or already studying towards a qualification in either, electrical, mechanical or chemical engineering at a South African university or university of technology. The bursary programme will fund the successful applicants’ studies starting in 2014.

Which fields are covered?

The bursary will consider applications from students studying towards a a degree or national diploma (all those studying towards a national diploma will also have to register for a B.Tech qualification once they complete an in-service training for their diplomas).

The following fields are covered by this bursary programme:

  • Chemical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering – Light Current
  • Electrical Engineering – Heavy Current
  • Mechanical Engineering

What will the Illovo Bursary pay for?

It will pay for your school fees, registration fees, accommodation, meals and all prescribed books.

Note: You will be required to work for Illovo during vacations and on completion of your studies.
