The national Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries is inviting applications for 2014 internship opportunities for more than 200 openings for internships, experiential training, agricultural interns and bursaries for B-Tech, honours, masters and doctorate.
The opportunities are divided into:
- Post-graduate bursaries. There are 20 openings for these categories. And they pay for courses starting at degree level (B-tech only), Honours, Masters and Doctorate (PhD) level.
- Young agricultural export technologists. A three-year relevant qualification (degree or national diploma) is a requirement. There are 25 opportunities.
- Internships and Experiential training opportunities
And the money?
This programme pays a stipend. And it states that for interns it will pay R69 994,98 per year – the allowance may be lower depending on the level of qualification.
