New Media Publishing is looking for a young graduate, who is keen to learn and career driven.
Responsibilities will include:
- General administrative and editorial tasks
- Fact-checking
- Data capturing
- Assisting with editorial research
- Picture editing
- Basic copy writing and proofreading
What do you need?
- An English graduate with a qualification in Media, Communications or Journalism
- Computer literate – Internet, email, Microsoft Office and Indesign (an advantage)
- General administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- An exceptional telephone manner
- Resourcefulness
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet strict deadlines
- Able to work across several products, print and digital
- Willingness to work overtime when required
- The ability to work well in a team, and to function independently
- Flexibility
- Good communication skills
- Fluency in English and Afrikaans
- Be in possession of a Code 8 drivers license
