The Swartland Local Municipality is currently inviting applications for its financial management internship programme with the Department of the Director: Financial Services in Malmesbury.
(Ref: V21/13) Salary Scale: R10 000 – R12 000 p.m. (total package) (One-year contract with the option to extend it for another year)
To be considered for this position you must be in possession of:
- BCom that must include subjects such as Accountancy, as well as Cost Accounting and Management Accounting
- computer literacy in MS Excel, Word and Outlook
- a valid Code B driver’s licence will serve as a recommendation
- knowledge of the MFMA will be advantageous
- applicants will be subjected to an accountancy assessment.
The successful candidate will be stationed at the budget office for the full duration of the internship.
Commencement of duties: As soon as possible.
