The government department responsible for the advancement of science and technology in South Africa, Department of Science and Technology, is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for its internship programme for 2014. There are over 40 internship opportunities in various fields including supply chain management, communication, international relations, natural sciences and human resources among others. The internship programme will run from 1 April 2014 until 31 March 2015 and successful candidates with receive a monthly stipend of R5 000 (or R60 000 per annum). All internship positions are based at the Department of Science and Technology’s head office in Brummeria, Pretoria.
