South African mining giant, Anglo American, is looking to appoint young South Africans with either a relevant Matric (Grade 12) OR N2 OR NCV Level 4 qualification on its 2014 Learnership Programme at its Engineering Skills Training Centre. Learners will have an opportunity be trained in any of the following skills: Rigger, Fitting, Diesel Mechanic, Electrical, or Plater / Welder.
What are the requirements?
You have to have any of the following qualifications to be considered:
- A Matric/Grade 12 certificate with English and Maths as passed subjects – having Physical Science will serve as an added advantage. OR
- An National Certificate (Vocational) at Level 4 (this should be in an appropriate trade). OR
- An N2 qualification as per discipline requirements (this will serve as an added advantage).
