Medical Claims Assessing Learnerships | Momemtum Health

One of South Africa’s leading medical schemes administrators, Momentum Health, is inviting applications from unemployed young South Africans with Grade 12/Matric with English, Mathematics or Maths Literacy as passed subjects. This learnership programme is open to people with and those without disabilities.

Successful candidates will be placed in one of Metropolitan Health’s offices across three cities – Johannesburg, Pretoria, and Cape Town. It will be made-up of practical work and full-day classroom lessons over a period of 12-months and successful candidates will receive a Further Education and Training Certificate in Medical Claims Assessing at NQF Level 4 on completion.

What are the requirements?

To be considered for the Momentum Health Learnership Programme you have to meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Be a young (18-35 years old) South African citizen;
  • Must have passed Matric/Grade 12 with English (at least 50%/ Symbol D/ Level 4), Mathematics (at least 50%/ Symbol D/ Level 4) OR Mathematical Literacy (at least 70%/ Symbol B/ Level 6);
  • Must be unemployed; be able to commit to the learnership for 12-months; and
  • Be computer literate (particularly in Microsoft Office).
