Work Integrated Learning Programme for FET students | JCPZ

The Johannesburg City Parks and Zoo (JCPZ) is inviting applications from Further Education and Training (FET) college students in their second year of study who needs work exposure. Applications from students in qualifications such as Town Planning, Human Resources (HR), Public Relations (PR), Marketing Management, or Supply Chain Management will be considered. Applicants have to be unemployment South African citizens resident in the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality under the age of 35 years. Learners will be based at various JCPZ operations across the City of Johannesburg region for a period of 12 months and will be paid a monthly stipend of R1,200.

What are the requirements?

To be considered for an opportunity on the JCPZ Work Integrated Learnership Programme you have to meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Be in your 2nd year of study in an FET college and in need of work exposure. The following study fields will be considered: Town Planning, Human Resources (HR), Public Relations (PR), Marketing Management, or Supply Chain Management;
  • Be computer literate;
  • Communication skills (proficiency in English) and mathematics literacy;
  • Be an unemployed young person (aged between 18 and 35 years old);
  • Be a resident of the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality.
