BME, a member of the Omnia Group and one of Africa’s leading manufacturer and distributor of explosives – with operations in more than 10 countries on the continent including South Africa, is inviting applications from young South Africans with a Grade 12 qualification with mathematics and science OR an N2 full qualification (relevant to Diesel Mechanics) or N3 qualification to apply for its 2014 Apprenticeship opportunities. Applications for the Apprentices: Diesel Mechanics apprenticeship opportunities are invited. In exchange for agreeing to work for the company for a period of 3,5 to 4 years, Omnia BME will grant the apprentice an opportunity to complete a full Read Seal qualification in Diesel Mechanics.
What are the requirements?
To be considered for this apprenticeship opportunity at BME you have to meet the following minimum requirements:
- Have a Grade 12/ Matric certificate with Mathematics and Science as passed subjects OR an N2 full qualification (relevant to Diesel Mechanics) or N3 qualification;
- Be 18 years or older;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Be medically fit.
