Eskom’s Matla Power Station in Mpumalanga, South Africa is inviting applications for its Learner Plant Operator Learnerships starting this 2014. Learners will be paid a monthly allowance. Eligible applicants will be those with a Grade 12 or N3 qualification with Mathematics and Physical Science as passed subjects.
What are the requirements?
In order to be considered you have to meet the following minimum requirements:
• Grade 12 / N3 with Physical Science and Mathematics
• Languages include English as second language (50%)Skills and Competencies
• Ability to apply Maths and Science knowledge
• Good understanding of thermodynamics
• Technical, electrical equipment and energy conversion process understanding
• Self-motivation, analytical, cognitive thinking and good communication skills
