Software development firm, BBD, is inviting applications for its 2015 bursary programme. The bursary programme is accepting application from students currently studying and matric (Grade 12) learners planning to study, starting from the 2015 academic year, a Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in any of the following fields: Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Informatics. The bursary programme will be suitable for talented students planning to follow a career in Software Development.
The BBD bursary will cover university fees including books, accommodation fees, meals and will pay the successful students a monthly allowance for incidental expenditure.
What are the requirements?
Please make sure you meet the following minimum requirements before you apply:
- You have an pass mark of 65% or more in the current academic year;
- Be a South African citizen;
- Have an interest in following a career in software development/IT; and
- Enrollment in a South African university in 2015 in any of the degree programmes listed below:
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree: Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Informatics.
