South African financial services giant, Old Mutual, is inviting applications from above average learners or students for its 2015 accounting bursaries. These bursaries will be awarded for study only at the University of Cape Town; however, applicants can be from any within South Africa. To be considered you have to be achieving above average marks (minimum 70%) in Mathematics and English. These bursaries are full bursaries and cover the all costs related to your studies including meals and accommodation, books and a general allowance.
On completion of your studies, you are guaranteed to be employed by Old Mutual on their CA Training Programme; there after, in a full-time position. This position is therefore for aspirant Chartered Accountants (CA(SA)s).
What are the requirements?
- To qualify you need matric with at least 70% or Level 6 for Mathematics (not Maths Literacy) and English. Applicants who wrote Matric (Grade 12) prior to
2008 must have obtained at least 70% for all subjects, including Mathematics and English.
