BHP Billiton in Witbank, Mpumalanga is inviting applications from young South Africans with a Matric or N3 technical qualification to apply for their BHP Billiton BECSA Maintanance Learnership opportunities currently available at the following BHP Billiton sites: Wolvekrans, Coal Processing and Middelburg Colliery. Candidates are required to have passed Maths and Science in their Grade 12 or N3 studies. Successful candidates will be trained – both theoretically and practically (on-the-job) – to qualify as Artisans in any of the following capacities: Plater / Welder, Fitting, Diesel Mechanic, and Rigger / Ropesman.

Please make sure you meet the following minimum requirements before attempting to apply:
- Have a Matric / Grade 12 qualification with pure Maths and Science, OR N3 technical qualification (minimum pass mark of 40% (symbol E) in each subject).
- Advantage: Have a Code B (08) Driver’s License;
