South African mining company, Lonmin, is inviting applications its 12-months long experiential learning programme. The experiential learning opportunities are available to students in any of the following engineering disciplines: Instrumentation, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Analytical Chemistry and Mechanical Engineering.
Experiential Learners will be given an opportunity to complete the Practical 1 (P1) and Practical 2 (P2) experiential training components of their qualifications. Lonmin will pay the experiential learners a monthly allowance for the duration of the experiential learning programme
What are the requirements?
- Be a South African citizen, who has completed or is completing his theoretical component of a relevant qualification;
- Must have completed the theoretical component of a tertiary qualification any of the following engineering disciplines:
- Analytical Chemistry;
- Instrumentation;
- Electrical Engineering;
- Chemical Engineering;
- Metallurgy; OR
- Mechanical Engineering.
