South African Breweries’ (SABMiller) Rosslyn Brewery in the Gauteng is currently accepting applications for placement on their 2015 Electrical Apprenticeship Programme. The apprenticeships are targeted at young South Africans with a Matric/Grade 12 qualification with Maths and Science as passed subjects and an N3 qualification in Electrical Engineering.
The SAB Rosslyn Brewery Apprenticeship offers both on-the-job training and off-the-job learning, one successful completion of which learners are expected to have qualified as artisans in their fields. This learnership will be based in Rosslyn, Tshwane, Gauteng.
What are the requirements?
To be considered for these apprenticeship opportunities, you have to meet the following minimum requirements:
- Have a Grade 12/Matric qualification with Maths and Science or have a Technical Matric;
- Have an N3/NVC or higher qualification in Electrical Engineering;
- Be motivated;
- Have mechanical and electrical knowledge;
- Be mentally alert; and
- Have conceptual, problem-solving and analytical skills.
