Are you a South African citizen with a minimum of a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering? Are you looking for an internship to hone what you learned in class in a real on-the-job training experience? South Africa’s Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) is inviting applications for its Electrical Engineering (Light) current internships which are to be based mostly on a research vessel at sea in the Antactica.
What are the requirements?
In order to be considered for this internship programme, you have to meet the following minimum requirements:
- Have a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Light Current);
- Have an interest and awareness in ocean technology and the environment;
- Willingness to work on a research vessel at sea for long periods of time;
- Must have an interest in general technologies (such as 3D rendering and mechanical design).
