Media24’s Afrikaans titles have a graduate opportunity for an Online Journalist to work on their digital/online platforms (Netwerk24). This opportunity is for South African graduates with a journalism qualification and a passion for digital content development. Applicants are required to have excellent Afrikaans language skills, a drivers’ license, and knowledge of the South African Press Code. This is a one year Internship programme and it will be based in Auckland Park.
What are the requirements?
- A tertiary qualification in Journalism;
- Excellent language skills in Afrikaans;
- Knowledge of the South African press code;
- Ability to produce factual and relevent news while adhering to deadlines;
- Driver’s license;
- Ability to code & social media skills will serve as an advantage.
