South African’s largest electricity producer, Eskom, is inviting applications from unemployed young South Africans for its two years long learnership programme aimed at helping candidates become qualified electrical engineering (light current) artisans. Applicants are required to have an N3 qualification in Electrical Engineering (Light Current). Learner Artisans will be based in Eastern Cape, Free State, Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Northern Cape, North West, and Western Cape.
What are the requirements?
To be considered for Eskom’s artisan learnerships, you have to meet the following minimum requirements:
- Have an N3 certificate Electrical Engineering – Light Current;
- ADVANTAGE: While not a requirement, it will be to your advantage if you had an N4 certificate;
- NO experience is required.
