South African Breweries’ (SABMiller) Prospecton Production facility in the KwaZulu-Natal is currently accepting applications for placement on their Millwright Apprenticeship Programme. The apprenticeships are targeted at young South Africans with a Matric/Grade 12 qualification with Maths and Science as passed subjects and an N3 qualification in a relevant trade.
The SAB Prospecton Production Apprenticeship offers both on-the-job training and off-the-job learning, one successful completion of which learners are expected to have qualified as artisans in their fields. This learnership will be based in Prospecton, KwaZulu-Natal.
What are the requirements?
To be considered for these apprenticeship opportunities, you have to meet the following minimum requirements:
- Have a Grade 12/Matric qualification with Maths and Science;
- Have an N3 in a relevant trade;
- Be motivated;
- Have mechanical knowledge;
- Be mentally alert; and
- Have conceptual, problem-solving and analytical skills.
