Anglo American-owned platinum miner, Anglo Platinum, is inviting application’s for its 2016 internships in various mining-related study fields at its Mogalakwena Mine outside the town of Mokopane in the Mogalakwena Local Municipality, Limpopo. Interns are invited from various fields including: Mining Engineering, Surface Mining, Mineral Surveying, Chemical Engineering, Geology, Industrial Engineering amongst many others.
What are the requirements?
To be considered, applicants must meet the following requirements
- You must reside within the local communities around Anglo Platinum’s Mogalakwena Mine (a proof of residence will be required when appointing candidates);
- Must have a completed degree or diploma at NQF Level 6 / 7 in any of the following:
- BSc: Analytical Chemistry (Degree);
- BSc: Environmental Geology (Degree);
- BSc: Geology (Degree);
- BSc: Mining Engineering (Degree);
- BSc: Geology (Degree);
- BEng: Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (Degree)
- BEng: Industrial Engineering (Degree)
- BEng: Metallurgical Engineering (Degree)
- BTech: Engineering Electrical
- BTech: Engineering Industrial
- National Diploma: Chemical Engineering
- National Diploma: Industrial
- National Diploma: Mining Engineering
- National Diploma: Surface Mining
- National Diploma: Mineral Surveying
- Must be physically fit.
