2016 Metropolitan Call Centre Learnerships (Only Matric required)

Are you looking for an opportunity to learn while you earn as a Call Centre Learner? Do you have a Grade 12 / Matric certificate? One of South Africa’s leading medical schemes administrators and health insurers, Metropolitan Health, is inviting applications for its 2016 Call Centre Learnerships from unemployed young South Africans with Grade 12/Matric with English and another official language, Mathematics or Maths Literacy as passed subjects. This learnership programme is open to people with and those without disabilities.

Successful candidates will be placed in one of Metropolitan Health’s offices across three cities – Johannesburg, and Cape Town. It will be made-up of practical work and full-day classroom lessons over a period of 12-months and successful candidates will receive a National Certificate: Contact Centre Support at NQF Level 3 on successful completion.

What are the requirements?

To be considered for the Momentum Health Contact Centre Learnership Programme you have to meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Be a young (18-35 years old) South African citizen;
  • Must have passed Matric/Grade 12 with English and another official language, Mathematics (at least 50%/ Symbol D/ Level 4) OR Mathematical Literacy (at least 50%/ Symbol D/ Level 4);
  • Must be unemployed;
  • Be able to commit to the learnership for 12-months from February 2016 and January 2017; and
  • Be computer literate (particularly in Microsoft Office).
