Engen South Africa is inviting applications for its 2016 artisan learnerships from unemployed South Africans with a Grade 12 / Matric qualification. Successful applicants will be trained to become artisans in one of the various trade fields: Electrical, Fitting or Instrumentation. A monthly learnership allowance will be paid for the duration of the learnership programme, by the end of which successful students qualify as artisans in the trade fields as mentioned earlier. This apprentice learnership will be based at Engen’s Durban Refinery in KwaZulu-Natal.
What are the requirements?
Applicants should make sure the meet the following minimum requirement:
- Have a Matric / Grade 12 with Maths and Sciences
Advantageous: While the following are not strict minimum requirements and should not prevent you from apply, it could work in you favour if you have them:
- An N2 in Electrical, Fitting or Instrumentation;
- A driver’s license (minimum: Code 8).
