South African hospital group and healthcare provider, Netcare, is inviting applications from South Africans with a Grade 12 or equivalent qualification to apply for their 2016 Pharmacy Assistant Learnerships which will be based at Netcare Greenacres Hospital and Netcare Cuyler Hospital in the Eastern Cape for a period of two years, starting in 2016. Applicants would have to indicate their preferred hospital, among the two, when applying. This is a HWSETA supported learnership and pays a monthly allowance of R1800 for the duration of training. At the successful completion of the training, candidates will receive National Certificates and will be enabled to register as either Basic or Post Basic Pharmacy Assistants with the South African Pharmacy Council.
What are the requirements?
- Have a Grade 12/Matric certificate (or equivalent, e.g. NCV 4 or Technical N3) with English and Mathematics as passed subjects;
- Have a passion for pharmacy;
- Enjoy working with people; and
- Exceptional communication skills.
