Do you have a passion for flying (most war planes)? Are a patriot who would do anything to protect his country? Yes? Then this South African Air Force military training programme can be the launch pad to your dream career. The South African Air Force is inviting applications for its 2017 training programmes from young South Africans with a Grade 12 qualification and who are below the age of 22 years (applicants above 22 years but below 25 will be considered if they have completed a Commercial Pilot License).
Candidates will be trained in various fields (i.e. Pilot, Navigator or Protection), following which they will undergo basic military training to ensure that they are highly skilled and patriotic military professionals.
What are the requirements?
To be considered, applicants have to meet the following requirements:
General requirements:
- Be a South African citizen (No dual citizenship);
- Have a Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent qualification (e.g. N3);
- Have NO criminal record or pending cases;
- Be declared physically and mentally fit as per the SANDF assessments;
- Not be area bound.
