South African pharmaceuticals and beauty retailer, Dis-Chem is inviting applications from unemployed South Africans with a Matric and who are currently students or have completed a relevant hair / beauty qualification to apply for their 2016 Hairstylist Apprenticeship currently available at their Randpark Ridge Salon in Johannesburg, Gauteng. Apprentices will receive a monthly stipend for the duration of the apprenticeship programme.
What are the requirements?
To be considered for this hairstylist apprenticeship, you have to meet the following requirements:
- Have to be studying or must have completed your studies towards a relevant qualification;
- Have a Matric / Grade 12 certificate;
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and
- Be willing to work retail hours and under pressure.
- Advantage: While not a strict minimum requirement, it will be to your advantage if you have some relevant experience.
