Dog food manufacturer, Royal Canin, is inviting applications for its 2016 Millwright Apprenticeship position from unemployed South Africans with a Grade 12 / Matric certificate and an N3 qualification. The Apprenticeship will be based at Royal Canin operations in Randburg, Gauteng. The successful candidate will be paid a monthly stipend for the duration of the apprenticeship contract. And at the end of the apprenticeship, as a qualified artisan, the candidate will be employed on a salaried position on a work back contract.
What are the requirements?
In order to be considered, applicants will have to meet the following requirements:
- Have a Grade 12 / Matric certificate with Maths and Science;
- Have an N3 qualification with a focus on Electrical / Mechanical;
- Be currently unemployed and not economically active;
- Have good verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to present information concisely and clearly;
- Pay attention to detail;
- Be flexible as you will be placed in maintenance or production on completion of apprenticeship;
- Be willing to work irregular hours;
- Be willing to be employed by Royal Canin for a minimum of two-years on completion of your apprenticeship, as part of the work back clause.
